Access: Users assigned the Reports - Staffing Exceptions permission. The following roles are assigned this permission by default: Director, Sr. Leader, Facility Administrator, Performance Improvement Labor.
When a staffing exception is created, designated members of facility leadership are notified by email. A designee can then review the request(s) and make a decision whether to accept or deny a staffing exception. The designee may also return the staffing exception to the requester if they require additional information.
At times, patient census or staffing levels may change and a staffing exception is no longer warranted. In these cases you may choose to withdraw an exception request.
