Access: Users assigned the Reports - Staffing Exceptions permission. The following roles are assigned this permission by default: Director, Sr. Leader, Facility Administrator, Performance Improvement Labor.
When a staffing exception is created, designated members of facility leadership are notified by email. A designee can then review the request(s) and make a decision whether to accept or deny a staffing exception. The designee may also return the staffing exception to the requester if they require additional information.
When the reviewer returns a staffing exception request, the original requester will be notified. The requester may respond by providing additional information or withdraw the request.
Respond to Returned Exception Request
At times, patient census or staffing levels may change and a staffing exception is no longer warranted. In these cases you may choose to withdraw your exception request.
