Copy a Schedule

To copy a default or previously completed schedule:

  1. In the main navigation bar click Schedule to open the Schedule Browse page.
  2. Click the Date arrows  to view the new schedule period.

 

Click Copy Schedule link.

 

  1. The Schedule Copy page opens, with Default Schedule 1 selected as the default option.
  2. From the drop-down list. select a Default Schedule or a Schedule Period to copy.



  3. Click Copy to copy the selected schedule.
    1. The Summary Periods at the bottom of the schedule show staffing values, but do not yet show the over/under color codes.
    2. To display the Summary Period color codes, click Begin Schedule to start this schedule.
  4. Schedule conflicts will not copy to the new schedule. For example, if PTO or an educational day is pre-scheduled for the new scheduling period, default work shifts will not copy into the cell. Likewise, non-productive shifts and shifts for terminated employees will not copy over to the new schedule.
  5. Click Print Exceptions to print the list of conflicts if needed for review.



  6. Click Schedule in the man navigation bar to open the newly created schedule for editing.
