Viewing the Browse Needs - Manager View

Access: Users with permissions to review and approve department open need requests.

The Manager's Browse Needs view differs from the employee view. Employees CANNOT see the number of open positions, the number of employee's who have requested to fill the need, or the number of shifts remaining to be filled.  

To view the Manager's Browse Needs Screen:

  1. Sign in to Facility Scheduler as a user with responsibilities to review and approve department open needs.
  2. In the main navigation menu, click Open Needs > Browse Needs.

 

Browse Needs - Admin View

 

The table below lists and defines the columns displayed on the Manager's view of the Open Needs screen.

Column Name Description

Select a checkbox and click Add comment to selected to append a comment to selected needs.

Qty

The number of open needs for this skill during this shift.

Avail

The number of staff who have requested to fill the open need.

Unfilled

The number of needs remaining to be filled for this skill. (Qty - Avail = Unfilled))

Date

The day and date of the need.

Skill

The Skill level required, such as RN, LPN, CNA.

Shift

The Shift code.

Start/End

The shift times.

Comment

User-entered comments.
